Country Show and Skittles 2016. A very hot day for this year's event. We had the usual variety of stalls with a number of first time stall holders, whom it is always nice to see. The skittles competition was very closely fought with the final being won only on the very last bowl. The picture below is by Lawrence Homewood and there are lots more pictures by him and Stef Hillwood in the photo album.

Country Show and Skittles 2015. A lovely sunny day welcomed a huge crowd to this year's Summer event. The Show was opened by Councillor Rose Thorn (Leader of Tandridge District Council) and was followed by the Skittles Competition (see the skittles page for more details and the winners). The pictures below were taken by the East Grinstead Courier. There are more photos in the photo album.

Fusion Evening 2015. Another great evening organised by Chetan Patel. A great evening of entertainment and wonderful food as well. There are more pictures in the Photo Album, but here are a couple. Roshe Performing Arts School danced during the meal, and The Project provided the music to dance to afterwards.

There are loads more photos in the photo album (link at the top), more dog show photos are on the Woodland Dogs facebook page:- Woodland Dogs. It was a fantastic day the rain storms held off and everyone had a lot of fun. The Stalls were great and they raised lots of money for Charities and local groups.

Felbridge Fusion on 8th February 2014 This was the second of these food and entertainment evenings organised by Chetan Patel. Entertainment was provided by Roshe Performing Arts School and The Project.

Felbridge Skittles Day took place on the 13th July 2013. This was a relaunch of the popular Skittles Day that used to be held in Felbridge. It was the hottest day of the year so far and we had an excellent turn out of seven teams who enjoyed the sunshine, ice-cream, cold drinks and hot food available. The first part of the competition was league based with the highest scoring teams going through to the knock-out competition, the lower scoring teams are entered into the plate, guaranteeing a lot of skittles games for everyone even if you are not the best team in Felbridge. There were also other traditional country games such as Welly Wanging, Horseshoes and a Coconut Shy. The Mill Lane Meteors beat the Roshe Royals in the final of the knock-out competition to be declared the Winners of the Felbridge Skittles Cup for 2013. The Rainbow Warriors won the Felbridge Skittles Plate for 2013. David Parker was the winner of the individual prize for the highest average score per game.
The Mill Lane Meteors were: David Parker, Fiona Wakeford, Lawrence Homewood, Joan Harwood, Ken Harwood, John Bowers, Peter Till & Theresa Till.
The Rainbow Warriors were: Hannah, Clare Thornton, Sarah Shelley, Matt Shelley, Neil Thornton, Hannah Hill, Evelyn Hill & Louise.
We will be holding the event again next year and hope to welcome many more teams to this great social event. There are more photos of the day in the photo album

Felbridge Country Show took place on 22nd June 2013. This was a similar format to last year with an arena for the dog show and marquees for the arts, crafts and food stalls. The show was opened by 'The Fat controller' in celebration of the Bluebell Railway coming to East Grinstead. Felbridge Primary School started the day with a demonstration of Country Dancing including the Maypole. There was a much larger food hall this year with a wealth of edible treats available. It was also good to see the return of the miniature steam traction engine which was circling the event. We also had a good display of stationary engines and vintage tractors. Huxleys Birds of Prey were also there and many children got to meet the birds close up including a very large Eagle Owl. Inside the Village Hall was an exhibition on local history and the stage hosted an excellent array of dance demonstrations from the Roshe School of Dancing drawing a large audience for each performance. Local Groups and Charities took in excess of £2,000 on the day. There are photos of the day in the photo album

The Country Show Group organised Felbridge Fusion East meets West on 16th February 2013, this was a very rapid sell out with nearly 100 people having a fantastic Indian meal at the Village Hall with Asian and Western dancers on the stage and local artists displaying their work.

The Art, Craft & Food Market on 27th October 2012.
The Arts, Crafts and Food market was a huge success, we had well over 300 people attend the day which was very busy. The stalls looked fantastic and offered a wide range of items to purchase, and all the stall holders were very happy with how the day went. Cookie Monster appeared for several hours and was even seen walking up and down Crawley Down Road carrying an advertising board, which generated a few puzzled looks from the car drivers. The event raised several hundred pounds to support the main County Show on 22nd June 2013, as well as supporting our local businesses, groups and charities. We also had the unveiling of the Jubilee wall hanging crafted by Ann Morley, which was judged the winner at the Summer Country Show and has now been framed ready for hanging in the Village Hall. Due to popular demand from public and stall holders alike, there will definitely be a similar event on 26th October 2013, but next time it will be even bigger and hopefully we will not have to turn away stalls as we did this year.

Felbridge Jubilee Country Show took place on 16th June 2012.
Local Groups took in excess of £4,000 on the day.

There are a few of the fabulous photos of the events on the day on the photo album.
